From the page: "Investigative Civilian Reporting with Joseph Savage:
A Peace Works reported goes inside our American homes to investigate the ACTUAL situation. It's surprising what's uncovered on an everyday basis. Things you might consider "random" objects or simply "everyday items" could possibly be, and indeed, already have been used in terrorist situation concerning the United States of America and our citizens security. Box cutters were allegedly used in the Terrorist Attacks of 9/11 , and now with the rise in wheat prices, Almost a 300% increase in less than a year(World Cafe Inventory Manager, March 2008), the over production of the American made "Liberty Corn" is showing to be a costly adventure down yet another Earth Threatening Path. Farmers have stopped growing staple products and have turned their farms into Liberty Corn havens where profits are on the rise with the increase in ethanol based petroleum products, and the rapid introduction of corn syrup into the American diet over the past 20 years. Diabetes, anyone?
THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WAS COPIED FROM wikipedia.org [wikipedia.org]
WHAT IS TERRORISM?
The word "terrorism" was first used in reference to the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. A 1988 study by the United States Army found that more than one hundred definitions of the word exist and have been used.[5] In many countries, acts of terrorism are legally distinguished from criminal acts done for other purposes, and "terrorism" is defined by statute; see definition of terrorism for particular definitions. Common principles among legal definitions of terrorism provide an emerging consensus as to meaning and also foster cooperation between law enforcement personnel in different countries. Among these definitions there are several that do not recognize the possibility of legitimate use of violence by civilians against an invader in an occupied country and would, thus label all resistance movements as terrorist groups. Others make a distinction between lawful and unlawful use of violence. Ultimately, the distinction is a political judgment.[6] In November 2004, a United Nations Security Council report described terrorism as any act "intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act." (Note that this report does not constitute international law.)[7] U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) defined terrorism as: "The calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological."
WHAT IS THE MILITARY COMMISSIONS ACT?
The United States Military Commissions Act of 2006, Pub. L. No. 109-366, 120 Stat. 2600 (Oct. 17, 2006), enacting Chapter 47A of title 10 of the United States Code (as well as amending section 2241 of title 28), is an Act of Congress (Senate Bill 3930[1]) signed by President George W. Bush on October 17, 2006. Drafted in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision on Hamdan v. Rumsfeld[2], the Act's stated purpose is "To authorize trial by military commission for violations of the law of war, and for other purposes."[3]
The Act changes pre-existing law to forbid explicitly the invocation of the Geneva Conventions when executing the writ of habeas corpus or in other civil actions [Act sec. 5(a)]. This provision applies to all cases pending at the time the Act is enacted, as well as to all such future cases."

A tour of the Eugene Whiteaker Hostel located off 3rd and Adams inside The whiteaker in Eugene, Oregon.
I did a work trade here for bed to sleep in. In our postmodern world nothing is free, not even sleep, so i worked 24 hours a week for a bed in a room which was shared with the operator of the hostel.
In Oregon the minimun wage standard is close to $8/hour. For 24 hours a week * four weeks in the month = roughly $800 dollars. The point being that to work trade at the Eugene Whiteaker hostel it works out that you pay, in labor, around $800 dollars a month for a shared 10 foot by 8 foot dwelling. Where are your labor laws, America?
Jackie also worked there, however, she did so for much longer than I. Once the manager of The Annex, Jackie has a long running relationship with this place. When she arrived it was cared for by four males and definitely lacking a female's touch. For close to a year Jackie poured her love into this place, making guests feel welcome and providing a down to earth homey feel for all who entered through the front door.
I met Jackie here, and the first thing I ever heard of her was, "Her eyes, You'll never forget her eyes once you see them." It's true, and I won't have to forget them cuase we're tearing out this place and hitting that good 'ol road again.
Goodbye Dirty Mac. Goodbye Eugene Whiteaker Hotel. We love you. (less)

Studio 420 is a mobile artistic studio of the world inviting all artist to participate in the production of unique and original artistic ideas generally aimed at changing reality.
Dodd is one of these artist, a poet in fact, that decided to drop by the studio and share a few words. Political, yes, thought provoking? Well you decide. Post a video response answering Dodd's question. "How is one to be courageous when a bullet is what is facing us?"
Lyrics to Dodds poem:
"Some people say we're in a dead society,
That the bright side of things is rarely seen,
and if at all, it only barely gleams.
Our souls have been put up in cages,
Measured by time related stages that scarily cloud the view,
They sterrily shout it's you,
and have been screaming it for ages,
all the while ripping pages of the truth from mouths of sages.
How is one to be courageous when a bullet is what is facing us?
You tell me that.
That's what I need to know."
